Travelscope: Cape Town
I’m a Capricorn sun, Leo rising, and Libra moon—that either means something or nothing at all to you. If that means something, then this post may be right up of your alley! As a millennial, I grew up looking up horoscopes in magazines—remember those—and resonating with the archetype of a Capricorn. Now, I’m no astrologer, but I do find it interesting to connect archetypes and styles to travel. Sometimes when I don’t have a destination in mind that I want to travel to, I look for how I want to travel or what type of experience I want to have, and plan from there. Hence what I’ve come up with here, Travelscopes—itineraries tailored to the traveler you identify as and experience you want you have. Destinations are multifaceted for the most part, which means even though a place may be known for 1 thing that you don’t really connect with, doesn’t mean you have to write that destination off. You just need to connect with it in the way you want to. Check out my first installment of this with Cape Town, one of my favorite cities in the world!

Sometimes you lean heavy into one type of travel, other times you’re all in one trip! The beauty of travel expands you and how you see and experience the world. Rather than me just giving you all or a random list of places, I figured let me speak to a certain type of traveler. Finding ways to creatively get you to connect with traveling and to some of my favorite destinations will always be a joy to me and hopefully to you too!
